Con... Error, Command, Function or Something Else

Postby har103 » Fri Sep 07, 2007 1:43 pm

When i was working with GWBASIC (It is a computer language)
I made a program for converting temperature n save the data which is given as input.

So what happened, I made the program in a way that it will save the file with the name con for conversion.

And then whenever I run the program the it gives me a binary output on the screen. (Remember that GW basic in an interpreter.)

and I don’t know what happened weather it was giving me an exe output or the file which is to me saved, (Also remember there is no function through which we can view the program except list command but that command also gives us a readable data, and I was getting something else...)

Was con working as a function at that time??
Or I was still an error??
Or still something else??
Maybe there is an ester egg in the GW-BASIC through which I was seeing the executable program onto the screen.

There are still many errors in even new versions windows, or maybe some are ester eggs.

This reminds me there should be a separate portion for Ester eggs in these forums, in the 1st page of forums.
